Ryno Kennel is home to 2017 Copper Basin Champion and Iditarod and Yukon Quest finisher, Ryne Olson and her 40 Alaskan Huskies. In addition to top finishes, Ryne has been awarded both Vet's Choice and Sportsmanship awards during her racing career. Founded five years ago by Ryne Olson and Derek Patton, Ryno Kennel strives to build a competitive kennel from puppies on up with a focus on happy, healthy dogs. While Ryne enjoys training and racing, Derek prefers flying with his team deep into the backcountry where he runs a trapline with his main leader, Frosty. Tukaway Sled Dog Kennel is an up-and-coming distance racing kennel owned and managed by Chase Tingle. Though his dogs are still young, Chase's goals are to run the Yukon Quest and the Iditarod. To the team of Tukaway, running long and sleeping less under the darkness of the Alaskan winters illuminated by the dancing Aurora Borealis is motivation to continue on!  Chase's positive attitude is reflected in his cheerful dog team. They really embody the Tukaway motto: Run Long Sleep Less! Click the link below to be redirected to the Tukaway Kennel's webpage!
